Zoho, connected to the rest of your company.

Zoho holds a piece of your business; the manual work lives in the gaps around it. We build the automations that close those gaps, against your existing account, with a person signing off on anything that matters.

What Zoho is

Zoho is a family of cloud business applications from one vendor, used mostly by small and mid-sized companies that want sales, billing and support in one place. The best known are Zoho CRM, Zoho Books for invoicing and accounting, Zoho Desk for support tickets, Zoho Inventory and Zoho Projects. Customers, deals, invoices and support history typically live there, each in its own application.

What an automation reads and writes there

  • Leads, contacts and accounts in Zoho CRM
  • Deals and their pipeline stages
  • Estimates and invoices in Zoho Books
  • Support tickets in Zoho Desk
  • Tasks, calls and notes on a record

Work that gets built around Zoho

  1. Call notes into Zoho CRM

A recorded sales call ends. The recording becomes a note, a list of follow-up tasks and proposed changes to the deal in Zoho CRM: stage, amount, next step. The salesperson reads the draft and confirms it before anything is written to the record. Catalogue price: $490 for setup and $79 per month for care.

  2. Overdue Zoho Books invoices chased

An invoice in Zoho Books passes its due date without a recorded payment. The customer gets a polite reminder, then firmer ones at set intervals, all in wording you approved beforehand. When the payment is recorded in Zoho Books the sequence stops, and once a week you receive a list of who owes what.

  3. Quote drafted from a CRM enquiry

A new enquiry lands in Zoho CRM as a lead or a deal. A draft quote is prepared from your price list and waits for your yes. After approval it goes to the customer, the deal is updated in Zoho CRM, and a follow-up goes out three days later.

    Built as: Quote desk

Before you automate against it

A Zoho account sits in one regional data centre and the API address differs by region, so first establish which one holds your data. Each Zoho application has its own permissions: access to Zoho CRM does not cover Zoho Books. Mandatory and custom fields in your layouts decide whether a write succeeds.

The controls

  1. How we connect Through Zoho's own interfaces - API where it exists, structured exports and the mailbox where it does not. Nothing installed inside your Zoho account behind your back.
  2. What usually gets built Data leaving Zoho into invoices, CRM records and reports; data arriving into Zoho from orders, forms and mail - the retyping in both directions is the work that disappears.
  3. The controls A written spec, a full run record, an approval queue for consequential steps, and a signed proof afterwards. The same four controls every OAKMONT automation runs with.

Common questions

  1. Does Zoho CRM have an API an outside automation can use?Yes. Zoho CRM and Zoho Books both have documented public APIs. Access is granted by a user of your Zoho account, normally an administrator, through a consent screen that lists what the automation may read or change in which application. That consent can be withdrawn in the account settings at any time.
  2. Zoho has its own workflow rules. Why automate outside it?Workflow rules in Zoho CRM act on what is already inside Zoho: they update a field, assign an owner, send a notification. They do not listen to a recorded call, read an attachment in a mailbox or draft a quote from a price list kept elsewhere. Work that crosses between Zoho and another system is what gets built.
  3. Can OAKMONT automate Zoho?Yes - Zoho is on the creator's systems list, and automations are built against your existing account through its own interfaces. Describe the workflow and a person replies with a fixed quote.
  4. What does a Zoho automation cost?Catalogue prices start at $490 for a single delivered workflow, with care from $79/month. The fixed price for your case is confirmed by a person in writing before any work starts.
  5. Is our Zoho data safe?Every automation runs with a written spec and a full run record, consequential steps wait for human approval, and for work that must never leave your building there is the Private AI Box - the whole stack on your own hardware.
