OAKMONTDevelopment bench

Website development, on the bench. Mark the part. We fit it and show you the proof.

Every change you mark is one line on the service sheet, priced by the characters you write. A person fits it, the machine measures it, and you get the before and after signed.

How a fitting goes

Five pins on one strip, from the part you mark to the card you can show. Each print below is a real screen of the bench, taken from the console and the fitter's desk.

  1. Mark

Put the loupe on the part and drop a pin. The pin is a line on the sheet, and you write what to fit on it.

  2. Price

Each line is priced by the characters you wrote, from the catalogue, while you type. The sheet minimum is charged once.

  3. Pay

The whole sheet is paid by card before anyone touches the page. Nothing is added later.

  4. Fitted by a person

A fitter opens the page with your pins and fits each part. Simpler than priced, and the difference comes back as credit.

  5. Measured and signed

The page is shot before and after, the change is measured, and the card is signed so anyone can check it.

The timing strip

Paste an address and the page is measured where you can see it: search basics, weight and whether it fits a phone at once, the lab run of paint, shift and blocking time when it lands. Each reading sits on its own rule against a published line.

Free, twenty pages a day from one address. Nothing to sign up for.

The case

A site we built or fitted can stay with us. It lives in the case: every new version is checked before it goes live, and the version serving is always one that passed.

$19 a month

Whole movements

When the page is not there yet, the bench builds it. Each build is a service sheet: what you get, how long it takes, and the price the catalogue sets today.

What each build carries, line by line: the three sheets

Templates and the finished specimens are in their own drawer: the work done

Automation

A process done by hand, fitted as a workflow that runs, is watched and is fixed when it breaks. Each part in the drawer carries its price from the catalogue, or says it is quoted after a call.

  1. One job, automated

One thing somebody retypes every day, done end to end: a lead lands in the CRM and the follow-up mail goes out by itself.

  2. A process across systems

Several steps across two or three systems that run by themselves: documents, approvals, processing and notifications.

  3. A build of its own

Software of its own that ties many systems together. A discovery call first, then a fixed bid in writing.

    from $2,900quotedAsk for the bid
  4. Where the hours go

Two workshops, a map of the work done by hand, and a written report on the ten jobs worth automating first. The fee comes off your first project.

  5. Care

Every workflow we delivered, watched and fixed when it breaks, plus two hours of changes a month.

  6. Care+

Care, plus one new small workflow each month and a monthly note of what ran, what broke and what changed.

Not sure which part?

Say what somebody does by hand today. The bench names the part from this drawer and opens its sheet.

A sentence or two is enough.

Every part, the ones made for a trade, and the bid sheets for custom work: the whole drawer

Templates

Jobs other businesses already need done, each a sheet with its form filled in: bookings with a reminder, quotes with photos, orders into the accounting tool. Start from one and change what is yours.

  1. For restaurants and cafes that take bookings online or by phone

Every booking gets a reminder text the day before, so guests who cannot come free the table in time.

  2. For clinics, dentists, physios and salons that book by appointment

Patients and clients get a reminder before each appointment, and a friendly message to rebook when they miss one.

  3. For plumbers, electricians, roofers and other trades

Customers describe the job and add photos in a short form, and the whole request reaches your WhatsApp or email at once.

  4. For online shops that issue invoices by hand

Each paid order in your shop creates its invoice in your accounting tool, with nobody copying numbers across.

  5. For a local business, a course, a workshop or an event

One page that says what you do, where you are and how to reach you, with one clear button to call, book or ask.

  6. For a business whose WordPress site is slow or hard to find

Your existing WordPress site measured, then fixed where it is slow or invisible to search: speed, technical SEO and analytics.

  7. For freelancers, agencies and consultants who bill by the hour

Hours tracked in your time tool become the month's invoices in your accounting tool, per client and ready to send.

  8. For any business that gets enquiries through its website

Every form filled in on your site becomes a contact in your CRM, and the person gets a reply while they still remember you.

The warranty card

Every delivery ends on a signed receipt. Below is the newest one in the public registry: its kind, its day and the first twelve characters of its hash. Open the link and check it against our key.

Warranty card

No card to show yet: the first signed sheet puts one here.

A card is not a review. It names no customer and says nothing we did not measure.

The hash is of the signed record: the selectors, the text before and after each part, and the two screenshots. Change one character and the card stops verifying.

Put your site on the bench

Paste the address of the page. It is laid under the loupe, you mark the parts, and the sheet prices each line as you write it.

Service sheet

New sheet

The page lands on the bench under the loupe. Nothing is charged until you pay for the sheet.
