PayU, connected to the rest of your company.
PayU holds a piece of your business; the manual work lives in the gaps around it. We build the automations that close those gaps, against your existing account, with a person signing off on anything that matters.
What PayU is
PayU is an international online payment operator that many Polish online stores use to take bank transfers, BLIK, card payments and instalments. Each shop is set up in the merchant panel as a point of sale (POS) with its own keys. What lives in PayU is the payment record of every order: its status, the method, the refunds, and the payouts that move the collected money to the company's bank account.
What an automation reads and writes there
- Orders (payments) with status and amount
- Refunds, full and partial
- Payouts from the PayU balance
- Points of sale (POS) and their keys
- Status notifications sent to the shop
Work that gets built around PayU
Payouts feeding the cash forecast
Money paid by customers sits in PayU until a payout moves it to the bank. The automation reads completed payments and payouts, adds what is still on the way to your invoices and due dates, and updates the rolling 90-day forecast. It only reads from PayU. A gap in the forecast is flagged to the owner weeks ahead.
Built as: Cash-flow guardPartial refund after a complaint
A customer complains about one item in a larger order. The complaint is classified and decided against your policy, and a partial refund for that item is prepared against the PayU payment. A person approves the amount before the refund is ordered, and the hard cases never get an automatic answer at all.
Built as: Returns and complaints deskOverdue invoice with a payment link
An invoice passes its due date in your invoicing program. The reminder, in copy you approved, goes out with a PayU payment link for the exact amount. When PayU reports the payment as completed, the sequence stops and the invoice is marked for booking. Each week you see who still owes what.
Built as: Soft collections
Before you automate against it
PayU keys belong to a point of sale, not to the whole account, so decide which POS the automation works with and hand over only those keys. Check whether the POS collects payments automatically: if it does not, paid orders wait for confirmation and look unfinished. Refunds are paid from the PayU balance.
The controls
- How we connect Through PayU's own interfaces - API where it exists, structured exports and the mailbox where it does not. Nothing installed inside your PayU account behind your back.
- What usually gets built Data leaving PayU into invoices, CRM records and reports; data arriving into PayU from orders, forms and mail - the retyping in both directions is the work that disappears.
- The controls A written spec, a full run record, an approval queue for consequential steps, and a signed proof afterwards. The same four controls every OAKMONT automation runs with.
Common questions
- Does an automation need access to our whole PayU account? No. PayU issues keys per point of sale, so the automation receives the keys of the one shop it works with and none of the others. Where a report has to be downloaded from the merchant panel, a separate panel user with limited rights is enough. Which records are read and which are written is set down in the spec.
- Can a PayU payment mark an invoice as paid?Yes. When PayU reports a payment as completed, the automation finds the invoice by the order number and marks it paid in your invoicing program, or passes it to your accountant if that is how you work. Payments whose amount differs from the invoice are not matched by guesswork; they go to a person.
- Can OAKMONT automate PayU?Yes - PayU is on the creator's systems list, and automations are built against your existing account through its own interfaces. Describe the workflow and a person replies with a fixed quote.
- What does a PayU automation cost?Catalogue prices start at $490 for a single delivered workflow, with care from $79/month. The fixed price for your case is confirmed by a person in writing before any work starts.
- Is our PayU data safe?Every automation runs with a written spec and a full run record, consequential steps wait for human approval, and for work that must never leave your building there is the Private AI Box - the whole stack on your own hardware.
