WooCommerce, connected to the rest of your company.
WooCommerce holds a piece of your business; the manual work lives in the gaps around it. We build the automations that close those gaps, against your existing account, with a person signing off on anything that matters.
What WooCommerce is
WooCommerce is an open-source store plugin for WordPress. The shop is part of the WordPress site, on hosting the merchant chooses, and almost everything beyond the basics comes from further plugins: payments, shipping, invoices. It suits anyone from a one-person shop to a sizeable store with its own developer. Products and their variations, orders, customers, coupons and refunds are kept in the site's WordPress database.
What an automation reads and writes there
- Products and variations
- Orders with their notes and metadata
- Customers
- Coupons
- Refunds
Work that gets built around WooCommerce
Descriptions and translations for the catalogue
Products get imported from a supplier file with only a title and a price. The automation drafts the short and the long description for each, translates them into the languages you sell in, and saves them for review. Nothing is published until a person approves it. Setup is $490, care is $79 per month.
Built as: Product content for storesOrder mail answered from the store
The shop's mailbox fills with the same questions about delivery, invoices and changes to an order. The automation finds the order in WooCommerce by number or email address, reads its status and notes, and answers where the answer is known. Requests to cancel or change an order are prepared and queued for a person.
Built as: Inbox triageOrders and site traffic every Monday
The store and its analytics sit in different places, so nobody looks at both at once. Over the weekend the automation reads the week's orders, refunds and coupon use from WooCommerce, adds the site analytics and the bank balance, and writes one page the owner reads on Monday. It only reads from the store.

Before you automate against it
WooCommerce has a REST API built in; keys are created in its settings, each tied to a WordPress user and set to read or to read and write. Invoice, shipping and payment plugins store their data their own way, so list them before work starts. Security and caching plugins sometimes block API requests.
The controls
- How we connect Through WooCommerce's own interfaces - API where it exists, structured exports and the mailbox where it does not. Nothing installed inside your WooCommerce account behind your back.
- What usually gets built Data leaving WooCommerce into invoices, CRM records and reports; data arriving into WooCommerce from orders, forms and mail - the retyping in both directions is the work that disappears.
- The controls A written spec, a full run record, an approval queue for consequential steps, and a signed proof afterwards. The same four controls every OAKMONT automation runs with.
Common questions
- Does OAKMONT install a plugin in our WordPress? Not as a rule. WooCommerce already includes a REST API and webhooks, so an automation can read orders and write products from outside with a key you create in the settings. If a particular flow would need something added to the site, that is stated in the spec and nothing is installed without your knowledge.
- Will it work with our invoicing and shipping plugins? That depends on the plugin. Some store invoice numbers and tracking codes on the order, where they can be read through the API, others keep them in tables of their own. The spec starts from a list of your plugins, and where a plugin exposes nothing, the automation reads the emails or exports it produces.
- Can OAKMONT automate WooCommerce?Yes - WooCommerce is on the creator's systems list, and automations are built against your existing account through its own interfaces. Describe the workflow and a person replies with a fixed quote.
- What does a WooCommerce automation cost?Catalogue prices start at $490 for a single delivered workflow, with care from $79/month. The fixed price for your case is confirmed by a person in writing before any work starts.
- Is our WooCommerce data safe?Every automation runs with a written spec and a full run record, consequential steps wait for human approval, and for work that must never leave your building there is the Private AI Box - the whole stack on your own hardware.
